I was a little behind on blog reading when I went to the mall after Lent [I gave up shopping for Lent]. I was browsing through Nordstrom, H&M, Gap, and Madewell … and noticed that they are carrying some really good looking denim jackets. I wondered if it was back in style…and I figured it was definitely back in when I went to Zara. Zara is a Spanish brand, and Europeans are not into denim as Americans are. If Zara had a denim jacket, it was back in. I use to wear my denim jacket all throughout 8th grade and into high school, but I stupidly gave up my jacket through one of my purges. I tried on all the jackets, and surprisingly, the Zara one fit me like a glove and also had a better price tag. Oh, and pockets are a must!!!!
I found the second one at H&M. I didn’t want another denim jacket to compete with Zara, but the sleeveless factor totally convinced me to get this one. For $25, not a bad price tag, so I got it too!
I met a really vibrant kid named Nate the other day. I snapped a few pics of him for his Grammie while he was outside playing in the yard. He is such a ham!
My friend Johnny is going to find the cure to Alzheimer’s one day. He invited my cousin and I to San Diego for a weekend of fun since he is going to present his speech at the convention center. We had a wonderful weekend filled with some epic breakfast joints, namely Hash House a Go Go, and Snooze.

After 25 years, I have finally gone back to full blown bangs. Not side sweep, but straight bangs. It’s weird, my hair hasn’t adjusted to bangs in so long that it falls in this awkward way, and bounces up really awkwardly. The Toni & Guy hairdresser did a good job with them when my hair is down, but there is a lot of my own maintenance that needs to go into it when i put it my hair up in a ponytail.
Sorry for abandoning my blog for so long. I actually miss uploading pictures. I’ve been so busy with work, friends, dinners, and gym that I haven’t taken out my camera and forced someone to do an outfit post for me. My friend flew in to visit over St Patty’s Day and I immediately had him do a shoot. Dress is Forever 21, bought at Plato’s Closet for $10 bucks. Yea, i’m super proud of this find!
